SALES DIRECTOR
As a sales director, you will report to the Founder and Chief Revenue Officer and will be responsible for selling emission monitoring and mitigation services and solutions to new and existing customers including private and public solid waste companies, natural gas, and agriculture clients.

We are expecting you to deliver revenue by demonstrating value for our customers with the highest degree of integrity, consistent with our company’s policies, while meeting our goals and objectives.
You will do this by leading our sales efforts to develop market opportunities for scale, close deals, and develop lasting relationships with our customers that ensure our exceptional rate of recurring revenue.
This is a national search for a candidate with credentials that will add immediate value to our business.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Your primary responsibility will be to develop new customers, identify opportunities within our current client base, and build strong relationships with the expectation of delivering revenue.
Preferably, the candidate will have an engineering degree with demonstrated success selling environmental services, technology and software to direct customers and/or partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Build long-term relationships with new and existing professional and executive level customers.

Become trusted, subject matter expert on Sniffer’s emissions monitoring and emissions mitigation solutions for increased gas collection and customer ROI.

Manage sales process via pipeline management to track performance and goal attainment.

Develop and lead work plans and motivate team members to achieve goals.

Ensure and build on our current exceptional recurrent revenue rate.

Customer presentations, webinars, sales calls, proposals and related tools as expected for the position.

In addition to delivering sales, we will also be looking to this person for market and customer feedback and assistance in our continued efforts to further develop industry leading technologies and solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Successful sales track record exhibiting strong relationship building, challenger, and problem-solving skills, via a collaborative, solution selling approach.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar role / industry with industry contacts and referrals.

Engineering degree preferred. BS from four-year institute required.

Solid waste, natural gas, and environmental solutions experience, with strong emphasis on landfill gas and/or renewable natural gas.

Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Excellent Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics (CRM) or similar, and related software skills

Ability to travel 50-75%

Interest and aptitude of working in a startup environment, demonstrated by passion, determination, and teamwork.

Legally able to work in the United States.
